State of the project
The aim of CARESS is to develop the skills of professionals who provide care services at home.
With our project partners, we focus on vocational education and training of formal care staff – general nurses in Spain, practical nurses in Finland and social care providers in Italy.
Caress is continuously developing thanks to collaboration among all the partners. We are reaching all the important goals we set at the beginning of this project.
WHAT HAPPENED SO FAR
- We assessed the skills needs and vocational education and training curricula in European Countries and built a European framework around these
- We created modules to be taught to home care professionals in our project countries (Italy, Spain and Finland)
- We are planning an online platform to create and exchange curricula across borders
- We will implement pilot courses based on our teaching modules in the three project countries starting from the next school year
