SI4LIFE - PROJECT COORDINATOR

SI4Life, "Science and enterprise together to improve quality of life" is a Regional Consortium with the primary aim to carry out basic research, translational and applied, for supporting the quality of life of old people and people with sensory, neuro-motor, cognitive and / or mental disabilities.

GGALLERY GROUP

GGallery is publishing house, born in 1983. Specialized in the use of multimedia and technological devices for VET, it is endowed with its own e-learning platform. GGallery got from the Italian Ministry of Health the qualification of Official Italian for both residential and online CEM courses.

LIGURIA REGION

Liguria Region is a regulatory Public Body. At a regional level, Liguria Region sets out all the regulations and laws in various fields, among which: Education, Training and Employment - Family, Social Solidarity and Volunteering – Healthcare.

VITTORIO EMANUELE II

Vittorio Emanuele II is a public secondary school providing vocational education in different fields: Social and Health Care Business and Administration - Computer Graphics and Advertising. The school employs about 100 teachers, 9 administrative assistants, 15 caretakers.

UNIVERSITY OF VALLADOLID (UVA)

The University of Valladolid (UVA) is one of the oldest universities in Europe (1293). UVA will participate in the project with 3 main Departments: The School of Nursing, as VET provider - The ICT Department - The Educational Department members of the GSIC/EMIC.

SGGCYL

The Castilla y Leon Geriatrics and Gerontology Society is a scientific non-profit entity founded in 1986. At present, has 200 associates from different fields of knowledge. Its mission is to improve the well-being of old people and its activities focus on dissemination, Training, counseling and research support.

CITY COUNCIL OF VALLADOLID

The City Council of Valladolid is a public institution responsible for the administration of the city of Valladolid. It is organised in seven counsellorships. The Social Welfare and Family Counsellorship of the City Council of Valladolid has the responsibilities provided for by the 16/2010 Social Services law of Castilla y Leon. It is in charge of the provision of different social services and benefits aimed at senior and dependent citizens resident and/or registered in this City Council.

OMNIA

Omnia is a VET provider and competent institute in Espoo, Finland. VET in Omnia includes Omnia Vocational College, Omnia Adult Education Centre, Apprenticeship training Centre, Youth Workshops and Omnia for Innovations, guidance and counselling service. Omnia provides secondary education leading to basic vocational qualification.

SUPER

The Finnish Union of Practical Nurses (SuPer) is a Trade Union of about 70.000 members within social and health care sector. Members have homogeneous broad based training for practical nurses. Most of them work within care for old people and home care.

Finnish National Board of Education

As a national development agency, the Finnish National Board of Education follows the development of educational objectives, content and methods according to the performance agreement with the Ministry of Education and Culture.

AGE Platform Europe

AGE Platform Europe is an European network of some 150 organisations of and for people aged 50+ representing directly over 40 million older people in Europe in the EU28. The purpose of AGE work is to voice and promote the interests of the 190 million inhabitants aged 50+ in the European Union.
