The role of social-health operators in older adult homecare: from Italy to Europe

programThe aim of this event is to provide a general overview on both the current and future issues as far as the training of the socio-sanitary operators is concerned.

As a matter of fact they are the key people when it comes to provide older adults with the healthcare assistance they need in Liguria and in Italy in accordance with all the challenges that Euopean countries would like to deal with and by comparing with them at the same time.

The main scope of CARESS project is to overcome a skill gap in the field of homecare for old people, i.e. overcoming the mismatch between the skills being asked for by old people and their families and those being offered by national health systems, private care institutions and Home Health Care Practitioners (HHCPs).
